WT-ZIPP TECH SPECS
ZIP SHADE
WT-ZIPP zipped roller shades offer the ultimate blackout blind experience, ideal for environments where total light exclusion is desired, such as home cinemas & bedrooms. A fabric retention profile is welded to the vertical edges of the fabric, which locates into a dedicated profile within side channels. This creates a secure seal preventing light ingress around the edges of the shade, as well as ensuring the fabric remains permanently retained within the side channels.
Available in two formats:
RECESS
No headbox, for recess mounting, UniChannel compatible
HEADBOX
White decorative aluminium head box for surface mounting
A variety of both light-filtering and light-blocking fabrics are available, coupled with visible or hidden hembar options, creating a personalised look and feel to each shade.
ULTIMATE BLACKOUT
OPTIMUM PERFORMANCE
The zip and side channel combination creates a strong join, preventing the fabric from leaving the side channels during its motion. This makes the zipped roller shade perfect for not just home cinemas, but for room dividers, high traffic areas, office spaces and more.
Home cinema installations have strict requirements for light ingress whilst in operation. By coupling the WT-ZIPP zip shades with UniChannel, the ultimate blackout effect can be achieved; removing light leak from around the head of the shade completely.
C-SCREEN BLACKOUT FABRIC
C-screen blackout fabrics are an easy to clean, practical solution woven from high quality Polyester (30%) and PVC (70%) yarns. Available in a width of 300 cm (118”) and coated with a flame retardant and anti-bacterial solution.
